May First Aid team at Scoutex
26th July Northampton Town Show - Security at Civic Tent stood down when Show abandoned due to flooding.
Call-Out - Called out by Police at 1540hrs. to Flooding in St. Leonards Road flood water 3ft. deep.
Team provided the following services :
- Refreshments to Residents
- House to house situation report
- Move infirm to other accommodation
- Helped Fire Service pump out and running hoses
Returned Sunday morning to help residents to move carpets and furniture.
December Provided First Aid Team to Banbury Scouts 24hr. Tour de Trigs hike, a duty we have carried on every year since.
1981
No special events but training and duties continued.
1982
February The Team almost brought Northampton Town Centre to a halt on Saturday morning. The Team removed a cross from the front of All Saints church by abseiling down the tower.
March Call-Out - Called to Overstone to search for two Cubs missing.
They were found in Overstone Solarium.

25th. September Call-Out - Search for missing person at Billing Sewage Works. Unfortunately he was found dead at Wellingborough
a week
later.
December Launch of appeal to raise £600 for a new ambulance.

15th March First Ambulance sold at car auctions.
15th April New Ambulance collected from Mereway Ambulance Station.

1st July Call-Out - Search for missing person in Salcey Forest 20 members on site within the hour.
8th August Call-Out - Search for missing 8 year old at Daventry. Team called out during work time for first time.
16th September Call-Out - Search for missing person Stowe Nine Churches.
